Inside the hotel, a vibrant buffet restaurant awaits, offering an abundant choice of colourful, seasonal dishes to enjoy at your own pace.
And when you’re ready to explore beyond the slopes, the historic city of Aizuwakamatsu is just a convenient 30-minute complimentary shuttle ride away — where exceptional local cuisine, renowned sake, and rich cultural experiences await.

URABANDAI Lake Resort
From 999AUD
Set on the tranquil shores of a vast lake that freezes solid in winter, this hotel is renowned for its natural hot springs. There’s nothing quite like soaking in an open-air onsen as snow gently falls from the sky — an unforgettable experience that captures the essence of a Japanese winter.
The slopes are always within easy reach. Nekoma Mountain is just a quick 10-minute complimentary shuttle ride away, while Grandeco Snow Resort can be reached in around 30 minutes. With frequent shuttle services running throughout the day, getting around is effortless.
After a day on the mountain, unwind back at the hotel’s third-floor bar — the perfect place to relax, share stories from the slopes, and ease into the evening.

Mercure Urabandai Resort
From 599AUD
The true highlight here is the onsen. While hot springs can be found across Japan, the experience here is simply exceptional — a perfect way to unwind and recharge after a day on the slopes.
In terms of location, the nearest ski resorts are around 20–30 minutes away by complimentary shuttle, making it slightly further out than some ski-in options. However, when you consider the excellent value for money, it becomes a compelling choice for those seeking both comfort and affordability.

HOTEL LISTEL INAWASIHRO
From 699AUD
Hotel Listel Inawashiro is truly the hub of skiing in Aizu — a gateway that connects you to the region’s best slopes with ease.

With unmatched connectivity and flexibility, Listel makes it simple to chase the best snow, discover new terrain, and tailor every day on the mountain to your style.

TOMONOWA
